Two flexible finance methods to bringyou closer to your dream home

Fully approved and vetted by the relevant third party regulatory authorities, at Homeglaze Home Improvements are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and we are therefore able to offer customers two distinct finance options for those wanting to spread the cost of their next home improvement purchase. Credit is subject to application & status, but providing you pass the required credit checks, the following fantastic finance options are available.

By utilising the funding options, you will qualify for additional protection under S75 of the consumer credit act. S75 states that the lender is “jointly and severally liable” to the customer for the terms and conditions of the sales contract.

Option #1: Buy now pay later

With our Buy now and Pay later option, customers can buy now and enjoy their product without having to make any payment for up to 12 months from the installation date. No monthly payments are required allowing you to pay the amount back at a frequency that suits you and your status.

During the deferred term there are no repayments due. If you decide to repay the loan in full within 12 months of installation (date will be advised) then interest is negated and you will only be asked to pay the loan balance plus a £99.00 standard settlement Fee. The Buy Now Pay Later Is used for people that have the money but do not have access to it immediately or those that were maybe thinking of buying “soon” and therefore bringing that purchase forward.

If you choose not to settle within the 12 month period the balance plus interest rolls over on a 60 month period.

  • Typical example if settled within the 12 month period:
  • Total cash price: £3,500
  • Advance payment: £100
  • Amount of credit: £3,400
  • Administration fee: £99.00
  • Total amount payable: £3,599.00. APR 19.9%
  • Typical example if not settled within the 12 month period:
  • Total cash price: £3,500
  • Advance payment: £100
  • Amount of credit: £3,400
  • 60 monthly payments of: £102.59. APR 19.9%
  • Total charge for credit: £2755.40
  • Total amount payable: £6255.40

Option #2: Interest bearing balance reducing loan

Our second finance option comes in the form of a tailor made plan that allows you to spread the cost of the product over a period that suits you. Terms are available at 24,48,60 and 120 months. Interest is pre-agreed but charged monthly so you can make additional payments that come directly off the balance and therefore reduce the amount of interest that you pay and reduce the term so you can sign up initially over 120 months and agree to a low monthly payment yet pay extra and reduce the term and the interest that you pay – the choice is yours. Interest paid is agreed upon at the start of the plan and is dependent on the allotted period of time.

An Interest bearing balance reducing loan is used for those that wish to spread the cost and pay a monthly fee on top, over a slightly longer period of time when compared to the Buy now Pay later plan that is specific to each customer.

  • Typical Example:
  • Total cash price: £3,500
  • Advance payment: £100
  • Amount of credit: £3,400
  • 60 monthly payments of: £67.45. APR 7.3%
  • Total charge for credit: £647.00
  • Total amount payable: £4147.00
