Resin-bonded resin driveways are also known as the scatter system. Resin is mixed with drill and paddle before being poured onto the surface. The resin is then spread. Aggregate is then broadcast over the top of the resin to ensure complete coverage. As the surface has cured, it can be swept or hoovered, removing loose material that has not bonded to the surface.
Once loose material is removed, the surface is sealed using a UV stable polyurethane coating. As well as a durable surface, you’ll enjoy improved retention of aggregates, enhanced decoration and resistance to UV light with the resin-bonded resin driveways. This style is perfect for driveways, footpaths, roadways, cycle paths, swimming pools, wet rooms, patios and more. Unlike other options, drainage systems need to be in place to prevent water build-up on the surface.
